Birthday Surprise in Virginia

Since mine & Chris’ birthdays are 5 days apart, we celebrated a weekend with our fam with my in-laws in Virginia. Still can’t get over that Yin Yang martini at The Melting Pot, it was def a perfect welcome drink lol once we landed in Virginia, we had dinner with his fam for our birthdays. It was both our first time at that restaurant and food was delish! Definitely had food coma!! Then headed to his sister’s house, little did I know… My hubby planned a surprise for me and my in-laws did a great job! My love for balloons and pink lol Plus his mom gifted me goodies from Italy, it was the sweetest! I brought the balloons with me to our hotel since I can’t bring it home:(

Anyhow, next day on my actual birthday we toured around Virginia Beach, had lunch by the beach, lovely view and good food. Also went to Williamsburg & saw some horses!! I loved the vibe, its like Old Town with cobblestones and brick houses. Bought another ornament to add to our collection and new tradition every time we travel.

Had some drinks at a brewery and they also played pool and I of course took some photos at their instagrammable spots lol & ended the night at downtown Hampton’s cute local bar.
